FISHING FORECAST | TOM HIGGINS
Full Description:
Stripes go well with bluefins
Bluefin tuna off the Southeastern N.C. coast and striped bass at Lake Murray appear to offer the best prospects for the next few days. Bluefin in the 90-inch range are concentrated off Ocean Isle Beach and Southport in an area stretching from the west side of Frying Pan Shoals to the Lighthouse Rocks. They're also hitting at a spot called The Shark Hole.Lake Murray's stripers are being taken on live baits in the back of creek arms and also in schools feeding on the surface from Shull Island to Rocky Creek. Most productive lures for the schooling fish are double-rigged bucktails and Ice Flies. Fishing Forecast | Tom Higgins
